Fiestravaganza International Music Academy

Founded in 2023, the Fiestravaganza International Music Academy (FIMA) is an international summer programme in Berlin bringing together pianists and string players in a collaborative, interfaculty environment. Participants benefit from individual masterclasses and coaching by renowned artists, alongside workshops and diverse performance opportunities including solo, chamber, and orchestral concerts in the halls of the Universität der Künste Berlin. A distinctive feature is access to Bechstein’s Vintage Keyboard Collection, offering experience on both modern and historic instruments.

FIMA also provides selected participants with the opportunity to perform concerto movements with the Camerata Fiestravaganza, an orchestra of top students and alumni from Berlin’s leading music institutions. Beyond performance, the academy emphasises cultural exchange and community through curated programmes and integrated accommodation, creating an immersive environment for artistic and personal development.
